Whatever your home business may be, there are times you might feel alone. When you are just starting out, you are usually solely responsible for all that comes with owning your own company. There are many ways you can promote a WAHM business within a large network of people who have the same goal as you do: have and share success.

When you are new online advertising, it can be confusing figuring out where to begin and what is right for your needs. The following list gives you some great ideas on which networking groups are worth your time.

The Mom Pack™ and Pagan Packs are ways for you to trade advertising materials all around the country. Advertising Moms is a long established avenue to affordably place ads on other WAHM websites. If you like to take part in discussion groups, but don't always appreciate a filled email box, then Internet Based Moms Message Board is the way to go. If the intimacy of an email list is more your cup of tea, please consider joining the new Creative WAHM Yahoo group.

When you have a little extra time, consider joining one of the many barter groups. You can also use the search terms trade and swap. Bartering is a cost effective method of allowing people to utilize your product or service. It can lead to future purchases, recommendations and even a testimonial that you can use on your website.

All of these suggestions have the added bonus of actually bonding with other home business owners. While different topics of conversation come up, the majority of networking members are there to help themselves and others become successful work at home mothers. By joining online communities, you will find many benefits both for your small company and for you on a personal level.
